# Why is my test set beeping after making a measurement?

## The beeping is an audible safety precaution during the discharging process.

During the discharging process, the WR will emit a series of beeps, a red light will flash, and the screen will display a caution message. It is important to remain patient and wait until the beeping stops and the display indicates "safe" before handling any cables.
